Introduction

This site is a portal of exhaustive databases of human genome aberrations and variations we have detected by using our in-house bacterial artificial chromosome clones (BAC)-based array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH).

This site links to The CGH Database providing genomic aberrations detected through conventional CGH and aCGH in more than a dozen types of cancer cell lines, and The MCG CNV Database providing database of genomic copy number variants (CNVs) detected through array-CGH analyses in trios (a child and his/her parents) of 100 healthy Japanese families.

The construction of these databases was supported in part by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), the Japan Science and Technology Corporation (JST) and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
